Amy Ritter

Amy Ritter has over 20 years of experience specializing in surface water and groundwater exposure assessments to support global pesticide registrations.  Using established models or developing climate and agronomic specific scenarios, she has conducted assessments to quantify the exposure of pesticides for the US, EU, Australia, Asian and Latin American countries.  Ms. Ritter is the co-author of several fate and transport models (e.g, RICEWQ and RIVWQ) and numerous data processing programs.  She has pioneered procedures for conducting probabilistic risk assessments and for simulating pesticide fate and transport associated with rice agriculture in the US, EU, Japan, and China and banana agriculture in Costa Rica.
